Problem

In furniture CGI, fabric and tactile feel are the make-or-break element. Stock libraries rarely match the actual project fabric; rebuilding from scratch each time is slow and inconsistent.

Approach

Physical fabric samples are scanned in a controlled setup; albedo, normal and roughness maps are separated. AI-assisted tools speed up the tileable conversion.

Outcomes

Repeated fabric setup time has been meaningfully reduced; a reusable material library has accumulated.
